EXPLORING FEELINGS (RELATING TO CHARACTERS IN A BOOK)
How do you feel? What feelings do you know? Before beginning the activity show different facial expressions or emojis and ask the children what they are called in their own language. Afterwards, we give the children emojis of different feelings and blank cards that they can draw on.
We read a book in which different characters are shown. How do you think the different characters in the book feel? Why do they feel this way? Encourage the children to also demonstrate, show in the book or use their primal language(s) during the assignment.
